             THE MEHANDI DILEMMA

Few months ago, my sister got married and I actually wanted to wear something special and different apart from saree, suit and lehenga. I knew that I can’t get rid of these dresses. Maybe mehandi was the only function where I could wear something unique. I knew indo-western was not that different, but yes it looks unique. Indo- western dresses symbolizes the perfect fusion of Indian wear and western dresses. Indo-western wear celebrates the beauty of both the worlds. There are occasions where you always to look different. These indo – western looks include a fun styling experience of matching and accessorizing elements of both cultures to create an alluring ensemble. There are endless possibilities that we can experiment with, when we are talking about indo – western looks and this makes the prospect of choosing an indo – western attire all the more fun.
So, I chose a palazzo with a crop and off- shoulder top and took a dupatta with it. As palazzo pants are a westernised form of the salwar and similar Indian trousers. The crop and off – shoulder top was a combination of black and copper colour. The palazzo was fully black with designed pattern in golden colour.
